LINKIN PARK (2) has shown a lot of heart in his last couple of starts with a brace of second-place finishes to his credit, including a particularly tough run 5 days ago at Tauranga when racing keenly in front. If he can settle a touch better, then he will take them all the way here. SNEAKY CYCLONE (10) has improved in each of his runs to date and will have no fitness excuses third up from a spell. Craig Grylls sticks with him, and so do we. MANORBIER (3) found 5 ¾f at Te Aroha too short for him just over a fortnight ago, and was safely held. The extra 1 ¼f is the key here, and he can bounce straight back into the money. FRENCH THINKER (13) resumes from a spell with a recent Ellerslie trial win under her belt.
