AU - The Valley - Race 1

A DIVA (5) is the one with upside that can make this next step. She hasn't missed the quinella in four runs to date, dominant last start at Sale over 1 ¹/16m when racing away as the $1.55 favourite. Back slightly in trip here but that looks okay and with further improvement she can notch up another win. SISTER SHAY (4) has won her past two, impressive at Bendigo in a BM66 last time out when sitting on speed and booting clear to score by three lengths. That racing pattern should hold her in good stead around here. YACHIYO (8) was flat out disappointing at Flemington last time as a $3 chance in a stronger race having shaped nicely prior. She's got ability and could bounce back. COCO JEN (6) has just found one better at both runs this time in but will be peaking now and maps well. HURRY CURRY (1) resumes. Big weight and wide draw make it tough but she's got some class.
