JONSON (4) adds intrigue making his Australian debut for the Bjorn Baker yard after contesting strong NZ company, including Group 2 level. Has been gelded and tuned up with two eye-catching trials. Could simply be too sharp for these. SWELTERING (9) looks ready to strike second-up after finding the company too sharp when resuming in town. Strips fitter, draws well, and gets the key booking of Lloyd. The rise in trip suits perfectly. Obvious major threat. BUCKENARA (1) was solid first-up and should take plenty of benefit from the outing. Maps for an economical run from the low draw and looks a strong top-three chance. WHERE'S MY HALO (10) is building nicely with two strong closing runs and will relish the extra ground. KING OF THE RING (5) will be charging late but may just need one more, and maybe a thinner field.
