WAR PRINCESS (1) beat 3 others at Hawera in her penultimate start, and then franked that form by beating a similar field to this at Tauranga 4 weeks ago, when charging home to score by a short-head. She is shaping up to be a very handy filly, and the hat-trick beckons. LUBECK (2) is a very progressive filly who looked all over the winner before being bloused out by the top pick last start. She has been back to the trials since then and has a great chance to turn the tables here. TELLUM (3) is also chasing a hat-trick of wins, after posting a maiden win and then a BM65 victory in successive starts. Stick with her. CIRCUS DANCER (4) showed a lot of heart to win as the favourite on debut at New Plymouth just over 5 weeks ago. This is a lot tougher, but she has earned her spot and has to be respected. FAIRY DREAM (6) won as expected on the Cambridge poly track when having her first start in September. She has been on ice since then, and a bold run is on the cards. Each way.
