WILD WILLOW (11) was disappointing last start when 7 metres from the winner in fifth over 1 ½m at this track. Best form reference might be his win at Oamaru four starts back. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a much better race. PICCADILLY PETE (9) is a talented gelding who has managed four wins and one minor placings from five starts this time in work. Kept the ball rolling last time when he scored over 1 ½m at this track, getting home by 2.75 metres. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. TEMPO WARRIOR (6) comes right into contention after scoring last start by 2.25 metres at this track over 1 ½m. KISS THE GIRLS (1) is the best of the rest after finishing third over 1 ?m at Rangiora last time out.
