Verdict

CROWN PRINCESS (8) got back a touch too far when resuming as the favourite at Matamata 4 weeks ago, and though out of the money, she was not too far from the winner. She steps up to a mile, and will be making her run a lot earlier with Craig Grylls in the irons this time. Follow your money. On top for us. ANOTHER FLOOZIE (7) was well ridden when coming with a sustained run from well back to score comfortably at Arawa Park nearly 3 weeks ago. She is bred to be better than a 1-win mare, and she can now go on with the job. QUONDO (3) was G2 placed as a juvenile and was a tad disappointing fresh up in the G2 Levin Classic in his first start as a 3-year-old. He can get his confidence back at this level and can make amends. UNWRITTEN (4) followed up a deserved maiden win at Te Aroha with a strong finishing third at Ruakaka 10 days ago. She cops a wide gate, but is still worth including in all combos. LERADO (1) will be peaking third up and has a superior gate this time. Don't risk him.
