COSTLESS (2) didn't do a bad job when eighth last start at Gawler, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MESSERSCHMITT (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a long neck over this track and trip. Nicely placed to run well. BULLS ON PARADE (10) is yet to hit his straps but strips fitter again and gets in light with the claim. Worth another chance from the favourable draw. EVENING BRIDE (4) was much better second-up when flashing home into third here. Keeps the claimer and can make her presence felt late again. MIDNIGHT RULER (7) is mixing his form but boasts a good record here over this journey. Draws well for Murtagh and has to be kept safe.
