SACRED CHORD (3) improved sharply second-up at Gawler when chasing gamely into the placings. Is open to further improvement on the short turnaround and will relish the added trip. Looks the one to beat. ORIEDOS (4) battled away into fourth here when resuming two weeks ago. Should improve with that run under the belt and is drawn kinder. Deserves respect. LAPILLI (8) was doing her best work late when resuming at Bordertown. Is another that will appreciate the rise in trip, though she will likely get a long way back from the wide draw. Watch for her charging late. HASSLEFREE (1) is ticking along well enough to give this a shake, though he will need a smart steer from the wide gate.
