OUI OUI MA CHERIE (10) closed off stylishly second-up, warming to the task late to grab a minor cheque here 18 days ago. Peaking now and should blend into the race nicely from her middle draw. Looks ready to shed the maiden tag. KAPPA CRUCIS (5) didn't quite meet market expectations last start but was far from disgraced. Fitter again and is well drawn with Toeroek taking the reins. Sure to be in the thick of it. STOOPS (11) improved sharply at Penola when chasing hard into the placings. There's more to come, though she'll need a touch of luck from the wide alley. FEARLESS MONARCH (6) finds a slightly easier maiden and gets Opperman aboard. Winkers go on, and a sharp spike wouldn't surprise.
