Verdict

CHAMPAGNE EXPRESS (4) ran some nice races in metro maidens in her debut campaign, beaten less than half a length when third on debut at Sandown before another third placing at the same track last time out. They were over further than this but jumpouts have been good and has the class to feature over this shorter trip, especially from the good draw. FLAT CHAT (5) is back from a break and will be improved on two recent trial placings. Rates highly and looks set to run well. AIN'T A BAD DAY (1) opened up a massive price ($71) on debut but was backed into $31 and ran a cracker to grab second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 5f at Seymour. Better for that and open to plenty of improvement. ABOVE ME (3) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 5f at Echuca. Expected to be there at the business end. HAVANA MOON (6) is spotting experience to key rivals but is a multiple jumpout winner who will be primed to go.
