Verdict

CHILLI REAPER (5) is a lightly raced mare resuming for her second campaign. She did some nice things in four runs there and has won a trial leading in. This looks a very winnable race. THE WIZARD KING (1) can mix his form, awful two back at Wodonga but not beaten far at Mornington when rolling along in front. Drawn to effect here, he can bounce to the front and give a sight. SHOUT ME (4) notched up his maiden victory at Hamilton last time and finds a suitable race to measure up in. SUNDAY FUN DAY (3) will be fitter off a solid return at Pooncarie. This isn't any easier but he's in the mix on an each way basis.

Last start rolled along in front then was edged out late 2nd in a small field at Mornington Bm62 on September 28 over 6f, head behind Auxiliary with 132lbs at $11. The race before that didn't do much in the run home, second last of 12 at Wodonga Bm62 on September 16 over 6f, 6 len behind Jugiong carrying 132lbs at $18. An inside draw is a big advantage. Hard to beat.
