Verdict

DU CLISSON (6) is back after a break of four months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5f at Cranbourne. He is a recent jumpout winner who looks to have found the right race and draws well. RHIA (4) is also first-up, back at the races for the first time since July 5, and it's worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 5 ½f at Sale. She's also won a jumpout in preparation for the return and looks favourably drawn. HEARTATTACK JACK (7) returns from a short break after winning over 5f at Bairnsdale a month ago. Shouldn't lack fitness after a recent Moe trial placing. SMART RETURN (9), a stablemate to Du Clisson, last appeared when fourth over 5f at Donald eight months ago but gets in well after the claim and is sure to make her presence felt. SIBEL (10) was terrible last start but returns to the home track, where she won a recent jumpout.
