NORWOODS (4) ran well over this track and trip last time out in a similar race, finishing second. There doesn't look heaps of pressure for the front here which will suit his style. Takes catching from a positive spot. GRAND SAGE (1) won easily two back at Stony Creek before measuring up well to BM64 grade at Sale. He should get a good run here and take beating. MYSTIC VAMP (12) found the line well first up here over 6f and will be better for it. Up in trip suits and she can land in a decent spot if cleanly away. APPLEBY (9) must be seen as a winning hope.
