Verdict

CHICAGO KING (5) is a lightly raced three-year-old who looks nicely placed here. He ran well fresh at Seymour before just finding one better at Cranbourne over 7f last time out. An extra ½f here is in his favour and he should prove awfully hard to hold out. SALTBURN (9) showed speed on debut at Echuca over 6 ½f and ran well, sticking on for second. He's by Puissance De Lune so should appreciate the extra ground and if he gets across from the wide gate he'll be in this for a long way. ILOVETHISTOWN (6) stuck on well fresh over 6f at Pakenham, finishing third, albeit beaten eight lengths. Out to 7 ½f should suit having bumped into G2 winner Too Darn Discreet over this route last time in. FRATINEEZE (10) has had a few chances but is racing consistently and should be thereabouts again. EIGHT GORILLAS (12) next best.
