Verdict

Race knocked about by scratchings, which gets GLIDING LIGHTENING (15) a run. Hasn't set the world on fire in three runs but has trialled well ahead of the return and has been scratched a number of times of late so the stable are obviously looking for the right race. The fact she's here is a good pointer to suggest they think they might have found it. BIG STAR (14) walked in in a recent trial and could have improved during the break. PRESTIGE KA YING (8) hit the line well on debut and looked sharp in her latest jumpout. Begg and Childs combine here with SHAPENAPIT (11), who finished off nicely in a recent Caulfield trial, which hinted that the daughter of Bivouac has her share of talent.
