Verdict

HOUDINI (4) ran an encouraging race first up at Geelong, getting back and finding the line well to be beaten 2.5 lengths over 7 ½f. He put up some good numbers last time in and looks capable of getting to that level second up. LIM'S SMYTHE (1) was well backed and broke through for a smart victory at Sale when last seen, coming clear to score by a length as favourite. Bit more depth now but he can go on with the job. FIGLIO D'ARGENTO (2) has been close up without winning this time in, good in a stronger race at Flemington last time out. He can roll forward and take plenty of catching. COLOUR OUR WORLD (5) steps up past a mile for the first time. She stuck on well at Geelong last time out, ahead of Houdini, and should be in this for a long way. EN FLIQUE (7) dominated an easier race last time and has to be respected off that.
