Has to contend with a very wide draw but with even luck can be right there at the business end. MISS WOODVILLE (4) is a long-time maiden and has had three runs this prep without finishing in the top three but has joined Michael House since last seen so could measure right up. THE GANGSTER (10) didn't do a bad job when fifth at Rangiora last time out and has scope for further progression. SIMPLY ME (1) is a gelding by Sweet Lou on debut for the Bruce Hutton stable. Has the benefit of the ace draw so keep safe.
