SHEEZ DOMINANT (3) missed out on a hat-trick of wins when finishing eighth in the Whanganui Cup nearly 4 weeks ago. She was not far from the winner that day, and will enjoy returning to BM75 company here. On top, especially if the track is wet. BLUE JEANIE (7) was an impressive BM65 winner of her penultimate start, and then finished sixth as the favourite in BM75 company at Tauherenikau over a mile 16 days ago. She was looking for more ground that day, and with the extra 2 ½f on offer here, she can make amends. Follow your money. PIPER'S SON (4) is as tough as they come when put into the race. He is at his best when the tracks are wet, and he won't lack any fitness. With conditions to suit, he can figure in the top 4 here. LEAVE A LIGHT ON (12) set the pace and fought hard when finishing third at Whanganui nearly 4 weeks ago. She is peaking at the right time, drops 7lbs, and will be right in the finish again. PLATINUM TYCHE (11) was not far away last start. Stick with her.
