Verdict

SECRET WISH (6) has been racing solidly this prep and was fourth here nearly 4 weeks ago. She has won her only race here, and from a good draw, she is ready to win another race at short notice. EXTREME POWER (9) can mix his form and only battled last time out on the Riccarton Poly track just over 7 weeks ago, despite being well found in the markets that day. He has 8lbs less to carry this time, and can bounce back into form here. Each way value. EL ULTIMO (2) was a very brave winner 9 days ago on the Riccarton poly track, and he usually holds his form when fit. He is just as good on the turf and can repeat the dose. COSMETIC VIRTUE (5) was very disappointing as favourite here nearly 4 weeks ago when finishing near the rear off the back of some solid form this prep. She is better than that and can make immediate amends here. PEARL OPULENCE (12) was a beaten favourite on the poly track last start, but is better than that. Each way. Follow your money.

Bobble/Stumble

A slip or a duck from a horse trying to leave the starting gates, often caused by the surface giving way under the feet. This can range from a mild misstep to a stumble down to their knees.

Morning Line

Also Eligible
