HERB (7) resumes after finishing well back at his latest appearance at Wyndham Raceway on September 5. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw but in this field, he is the one to beat after a recent solid workout. LORD DELMAR (3) finished fifth at Manawatu two runs ago before a comparable effort at his latest appearance over 1 ¼m at this track, beaten 18 metres. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. IDOLOU (6) is on the radar after her last-start fifth over 1 ¹¹/16m at Cambridge Raceway a week-and-a-half ago. GOTTA ELECT BILL (8) is worth some thought after his last-start sixth over 1 ?/16m at Reefton on December 30. Each way value.
