EMPOWERING (1) is returning from a spell of four months. Finished fourth at Kranji Turf over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Lim Boon Thong. Well-placed and sure to feature. PACIFIC DREAM (6) scored his maiden win here last time out over today's trip, getting the decision by 0.8 lengths. Shaping up nicely and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. KINABALU LIGHT (3) got a long way back when 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1 ¹/16m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at this track the run before. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. DESI MASTER (5) finished fourth last time out over 7f at this track, beaten 11 lengths. Right in the contest.
