Verdict

PONTIUS (13) impressed winning his Maiden here on debut however he didn't finish it off from a wide gate following. The blinkers go on for the first time and he has a handy gate and a key jockey switch to Wiggins. Presents fitter and no surprise to see him bounce back. TIME TO PROPHET (3) resumed as favourite in stronger grade and will be better for it. She's likely to push forward from the awkward gate and quick improvement is on the cards. COPPABELLA ROAD (4) rides the speed and deserved his win here this grade and trip. Carries more weight but has been kept on the fresh side and is advantaged by the low barrier. RARE AND RELIABLE (7) resumes and has switched from the Birchley stable. May need one but has saluted over this distance and the betting will be key.
