GONE COUNTRY (1) is a filly on debut from the stable of Georgina Holt. By Jonker from Good Music and her trials have been sharp at the track. Looks promising and this is a winnable assignment. Stablemate SCARLENA (2) was well beaten placing at Cairns on debut but is sure to appreciate the longer sprint. The early betting suggests that we're going to see sharp improvement. ANDERS KISS (6) has race fitness and experience and she found a place over 5 ½f at Mackay last time after being prominent at the bend. Can't be ruled out at a price. MERSEY LASS (4) resumes and it won't surprise if she returns improved.
