Verdict

GOT THE SMARTS (5) resumed off a wide gate and it was a good effort. She maps for a softer run today and has plenty up her sleeve. Keeps an in-form jockey and should be right in it. CASH AND CARDS (2) is an improver from the Paul Snowden stable. Didn't have much luck first-up, and he has provincial form that more than stacks up. VEECEE (1) was back to his best form, beaten less than 2L at Rosehill. Has to lug a big weight, but has decent claims back to country level, briefly freshened. MISS MOLOKAI (7) is threatening a win, and the longer sprint won't be an issue. Peaks for this, and she's on a 9-day return.
