FIGHTING MAGNUS (4) has been racing in Newcastle in stronger company. Presents on a quick backup, and three of his six wins have come here. This is his chance to break back. CASINO BEAR (5) positions forward, and it's hard to knock his form in 58s. Has weight relief and is also on a quick return. Should prove hard to catch. MR PLUME (3) will find this easier than the Open 3 at Coffs Harbour. He was a big winner this grade at Tamworth prior, and that reads well. CENOTES (1) comes out of the same race, and his form generally would see him around the mark. Has the rail and benefits here from a handy 4lbs claim.
