Verdict

One of the more intriguing races on the card, and might be prudent to go a bit wide in the quaddie. HE'S POPLAR (8) has been kept on the fresh side since a big maiden win at this track 35 days ago. Looks capable of going right on with the job. NEPTUNE LEGEND (12) is fit and consistent, and lobs into a winnable race today. Not to be taken lightly. GENERAL HIPPO (1) improved a long way last time to win at this track over 7f. Looks well in the mix again with a repeat performance. AOOM'S CHOICE (13) is in good form off a maiden win over this trip at Toowoomba. No reason to jump off. MADALSA (9) should push forward and can give a damn good sight second-up.
