MOTHER GOOSE (6) met with some midrace interference then recovered to grab third last start over 6f at Canterbury. Gets out to 7f for the first time which looks an excellent option. Cherry ripe after two runs back and is a big chance to double her win tally. ELIVINA (8) put in the big strides late but missed by just under a length when resuming over this distance at Kembla last time out. Lightly raced mare who won at this stage last prep so she can build on that promising effort. VIRGIL'S GIFT (14) won on debut then led but just failed to hang on over 7 ½f at Rosehill recently. Promising filly who should be hard to reel in coming back a little in distance. The consistent EMBALLEE (5) gets back in her races then finds the line. Coming back a little in trip doesn't look ideal but in a race that lacks depth she is a sound top three prospect. AURA (7) will find this a lot harder than the Kembla maiden she took out last time.
