VINARI (8) closed with purpose to get up for third when resuming over 6f at Wagga two back. Did some early work and tanked late at her latest appearance over this trip at Moruya. Coriah Keatings gets the best out of this mare and she is back aboard. Can bounce back. MISSILE DEFENCE (4) made good late ground to get up for third last time out in a Class 2 over this distance at Parkes. Only goes up 1.5kgs after the claim in a weaker race. Looks hard to beat although it has been 905 days since he saluted which is a concern. BUSHWALKER (9) is another with a terrible strike rate who is going okay and teasing connections. Good effort to finish second in a Class 2 over 6f at Parkes recently. Looks ready for another try at this distance. TWIN GIFT (11) backs up seven days after an eye-catching effort over 6f at Dubbo. Has won here at the trip so cannot be ruled out. SOX (2) trialled okay at Hawkesbury recently and is a top four chance first-up from a spell.
