Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. BE VIVO (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Urawa over 1 ¼m. Will drift back but wind up late. Likely improver with strong prospects. MANIK (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1 ¼m at Urawa, beaten 8 lengths into sixth. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. IORANA (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 6 ½f at Urawa. Can break the run of outs.
