The owner of a horse’s dam – or mother - at the time a horse is foaled.

Synthetic Surface

A racing surface comprised of silica sand and fibers, such as recycled carpet or spandex. The mixture is then sealed with wax.

Filly

A female horse that is four years of age or under.
