BRILLIANT EXPRESS (5) did not have the best of runs when being beaten as an odds-on favourite here last time out. He was narrowly beaten when resuming from a spell and did look back to his best at a recent trial. He is still on the up and can make amends. Follow your money. STRATHPEFFER (9) did a lot of work from a wide gate last time out and finished runner-up, less than 2 lengths from the winner. He was a winner in the same grade from this superior gate before that and can bounce straight back into the winners' circle. ETALON OR (6) won a trial before being narrowly beaten by a good type here 4 weeks ago. He has a slightly better draw this time and can break through for his first local win. LESLIE (2) drops down in class and gets a big jockey upgrade with James McDonald picking up the ride and that should be enough to see him in the finish this time. Each way value.
