BRAVEHEARTS (5) has thrived since joining the Mark Newnham stable and made it 3 wins from 4 starts when scoring in a similar grade to this last time out by a length. He has more to offer and can double the dose. STUNNING PEACH (2) is a very progressive gelding who has needed both of his starts back from a spell and has also had a further 2 trials since his last start just over 6 weeks ago. He steps up to a more suitable trip of 1 ¼m third up and is ready to put his best hoof forward. ROMANTIC THOR (6) is a UK import who needed his first local start over a mile before improving quickly second up over this trip and finishing third. He cops a wide gate but is expected to continue to improve and with James McDonald in the saddle, he can't be ruled out of winning this. MICKLEY (3) ran on too late over a mile last time out and should have no issue with an extra 2f. The John Size stable is running hot at the moment and this gelding can take the next step. Stick with him.
