TEST OF FIRE (8) is a newcomer to the Corey Parker yard from Victoria where he has put together a string of wins and placings. Draws wide but was good in coming from the back row to score two back at Melton and owns a good record at this distance. PLAYA BLANCA (9) draws on the back row but came from there to place at Newcastle last Friday. That continued some strong form including a Penrith win in a higher-graded race three back. Big chance with even luck. HIGHLANDS WARRIOR (7) led and kept going for a Canberra win last time. Has had five weeks off since and draws wide but is still in contention. SIX AGAIN (3) has been coming from wider or second row barriers so looks well served by this barrier.
