Has won fresh before and should be ready to go after placing in two recent trials here. MADRIGAL (2) is a newcomer to the Matthew Craven yard from Queensland. Resumes from a spell of 12 weeks after closing off last campaign in good form, the last outing being a solid third at Albion Park. Draws to enjoy an economical run so can be in the finish. JACCKA CONNOR (8) draws on the back row but should enjoy a trail and was good in finishing runner-up at this circuit and distance last time out. EMILY VINCENT (9) may need some luck from this draw but had been racing well with a string of placings before the last attempt.
