RONNIE THE HAMMER (1) looks ready to win after finishing runner-up in his three starts this time in, beaten just a neck at Melton last time. That should have brought him to his peak and he drops to a distance where he owns a good record. The ace draw gives him the chance to break through. GOLDEN SHOOZ (4) is a filly in good form, winning her last two starts in Victoria. Led for a second-up win at Geelong before coming from wider to get home at Melton last time. Won her lone attempt at this circuit so is well placed to land the hat trick. SEASIDE DELIGHT (3) is a progressive gelding who continued a string of top-two finishes with a resuming win at Bathurst. Draws well so could go on with it. CAPTAIN RIVAL (2) resumes for a new yard and draws well. Strikes at 50 per cent at this distance and should be forward enough off three trials.
