DAVOLAS LEGACY (3) has been racing well in higher-graded races so far this campaign. Came from this barrier for a second-up win at Cranbourne then drew deeper last week when midfield at Geelong. Race fit and looks well placed. AMERIKIN RUNA (8) enjoyed the drop in grade from the NSW Breeders Challenge Blue series when he came from this same barrier and raced three wide without cover but fought well to miss narrowly. With a touch better fortune he could go one better. SIGNIFICANT LAZ (7) draws wide but looks close to a win following back-to-back placings here. SHAKEN SANDS (1) gets the inside draw and is in the mix off a series of top-four finishes.
