Verdict

BOGDANAVIC (6) kicked off his campaign by winning both rounds of the Breeders Challenge Blue series at Menangle, coming from a similar barrier to this in his heat before digging deep to get home in the Group 2 final. Progressive gelding who is good enough to overcome the barrier and win again. THE WICKED WARRIOR (3) showed promise in coming from wider to win his first two outings at this circuit and distance before a close fourth in the city last start. Kept up to the mark with a trial since and draws to advantage. TAPPY (4) faded out after leading last start at Melton but is much better than that having won well at Geelong prior. Could bounce back. SEASIDE SID (2) has come from the back row for a win and a placing from his last two outings so can make an impact from the low draw.
