MURRA LANE (7) ran fourth last start at this track over 1 ¹/16m, beaten only 4 metres. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run but might need things to go his way at some stage. Good enough to be right in the finish. QUIET TOUCH (9) filled a minor placing at Globe Derby Park two runs ago before finishing second at her latest appearance over 1m at Port Pirie, beaten 2.5 metres. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to play a major role. THE AFRICAN QUEEN (4) has been thereabouts of late and is a great chance to break through. Good effort last time out when she finished fourth at Kilmore over 1 m. CARLY PEREZ (2) is in the mix if she can recapture the form from two starts back that saw her finish second over 1 ¹/16m at this track.
