MAC BON (5) has been beaten into fourth as a hot favourite in both starts since winning here but he is an accomplished colt who owns a 50 per strike rate at this distance. Draws a little lower than last time and his best would win this. DOUBLE LOU (1) led to win from this barrier when resuming then drew there again and beat Mac Bon home when placed last time. Has the gate speed to take advantage of the inside draw so could be hard to catch. SET UP (7) faded out last time but placed behind Double Lou when resuming prior so could show more. PETES CRUNCH TIME (6) was midfield last start but recorded a string of top-two finishes prior so could be competitive.
