AU1 - Launceston - Race 6

HUNGRY HIPPO (7) has been racing extra well and wasn't disgraced last start when runner-up at Globe Derby Park over 1 ?m, beaten 2.25 metres after travelling in a forward position. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he good enough to play a major role. OURTIGER (9) scored by 2.75 metres at Hobart over 1 ¼m last start at his first run back from a spell. May need luck at some stage extracting from the inside of the second row. Finds a tougher race but another win is not out of the question. OKANUI BEACH (10) has trialled three times since his last run so expect he is forward enough to stake a strong claim fresh from a break. JUSTLIKEDAVE (5) disappointed last time when seventh over 1 ¹/16m at Melton. Can do a lot better so worth considering.
