HOME AND DRY (6) worked from this draw but proved too tough when scoring at Melton last month. Looks close to another success after coming from the back line and racing three wide without cover but fighting well to miss by a head at Ballarat last week. Can atone. FINAL BOW (5) turned in a good effort from this barrier at her latest appearance, finishing third at Bendigo. Had won two of her previous four starts so has been racing well and owns a solid record at this circuit and distance. MAJOR MAURIE (9) may need some luck from the back row but showed what he is capable of when he won at Melton three back. TASTE IT (2) led and fought on for second last start so could give a sight from the good draw.
