SIARGAO ISLAND (4) proved a bit disappointing when in the betting at his latest appearance at Shepparton but there was merit in the fresh effort when placed behind a smart one at Melton. Fitter so worth another chance. THE GOLDEN HOOK (3) has yet to miss the top-four and put the writing on the wall when runner-up at Swan Hill last time, beaten a neck. Draws a couple of spots wider but should be peaking. Leading hope. FLOPPA (6) last appeared three-and-a-half months ago but a recent trial win suggests he has developed since that short maiden campaign. Keep safe. BIG NIK (2) draws well and may be ready to show more.
