ROCKET BOY (3) resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months after closing off last campaign in good form, the last outing being a solid third at this circuit and distance. Should enjoy an economical run from this draw and was readied with a trial win so expecting a bright start to the campaign. KATLAS DREAM (2) has been going around at Newcastle of late, placing over a mile three back. Has had a month off but draws well in what looks a suitable assignment. Primary contender. ULTIMATE TROUBLE (4) must be considered after she showed improvement and finished runner-up at Penrith last start. GROSESTAR (10) draws on the second line but scored back-to-back wins here in September, one of them from a similar barrier to this.
