INTO THE HARKNESS (4) has not raced for seven months. Looks forward enough for this return after winning in a recent trial. Likely to run a big race to kick off this campaign. HUNGRY HOGARTH (7) was in the money at Horsham two runs ago before having his colours lowered at his latest appearance over 1 5/16m at Bendigo, beaten 9 metres. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Certainly cannot be faulted after that last effort. Good enough to take out a race like this. MARKLEIGH CAZ (1) is in the mix following a fifth at her most recent appearance over 1 ?m at Horsham. IAMAWINGATE (8) will secure a cosy run early and must be considered after he finished runner-up over 1 m at Kilmore four days ago.
