ALDEBARAN ZANE (3) has not raced for six-and-a-half months. Looks forward enough for this return after winning in a recent trial. No excuses from this advantageous draw. Sure to prove hard to beat on his return. SAMMY HALLER (9) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 2 metres from the winner in second over 1 5/16m at Maryborough. This is a nice drop in grade, so he is in the right race to find the winners' list. FARSTAR (8) is next in line, and although he has to contend with an awkward gate, a win is not out of the question. ROLY HINSON (4) is a four-year-old entire by Kvintet Avenger Fin from Dottie Hinson on debut. Was not far away in a recent trial. Sure to prove very hard to beat.
