IDEAL ANDY (9) has been racing very well of late and went close again last time, finishing 3.3 metres from the winner at this circuit and distance. That was his third successive runner-up result so the hoof is on the till. If things go his way from the back row he can break through. ARMA THE GREAT (4) drew deep and worked when parked so was far from disgraced when fourth last start at Newcastle. Capable of playing a major role. SOLVE THE CRIME (1) galloped out last time but had placed in the previous two outings and should have no excuses from this advantageous draw. A better draw could see a better showing from ROSES ARE BEST (2).
