NORMANS GIRL (6) continued her consistent run of recent efforts when runner-up at Kilmore last start, beaten a head. Draws wider but if things go her way she could break through. KORENGAL VALLEY (4) resumes after more than nine months but showed ability in placing in three of six starts at the maiden campaign. Likely to have developed since he last raced and was readied with a series of trials. JACQUELYN JOY (3) was runner-up from a wide barrier two back at Melton and didn't do a bad job when fourth at Geelong last time out. HURRICANE HOOLY (5) is in the mix after turning in a good effort last start to finish third at Cranbourne.
