BROWN SUGAR (7) overcame a dusty start to salute on debut a fortnight ago over this course and distance. A couple that she beat that day go around in Race 1 so that may be a guide to the form. Fully expect she is ready for this sterner test. DETENDU (1) didn't have everything go his way last time out when third over today's trip at Gosford. Consistent sprinter who maps nicely from an inside draw. Sure to be about the mark again. The fascinating runner is DIVA LAS VEGAS (3) who was heavily backed and got the job done at her only race appearance back in April 2024. Has transferred to the Michael Freedman stable. Betting obviously crucial. STORMFIELD (2) is back from a ten-month break. Opened last prep with a big win at Orange then was competitive at the provincials. Trialling in great style so he looks forward enough to run a big race. Godolphin's LULL (4) resumes and is now with Ciaron Maher. Speedy filly who should be in this for a long way.
