MANWARI (2) impressed scoring by 1.5 lengths over this course and distance to continue his terrific recent form. Keeps improving and has Schofield aboard today. The local can go right on with the job. VAINSTREAM (4) was plainer last time but has threatened here and at Canberra the two before. Has the rail and handy 4lbs claim and can make the finish again. SANTOLINI (8) was in the money two starts back at Gundagai but couldn't back it up last time at Dubbo over 6 ½f. On a quick backup and will be sharper dropping back to a shorter sprint. BEAU ROCK (6) has been mixing the form but is capable and tumbles in weight. That brings him into it and Owen's booking is a positive.
