Verdict

FALCON LAIR (2) has been narrowly beaten all three starts this preparation and raced a $2.6 favourite at Hawkesbury last time. Has the blinkers on for the first time and Schofield stays aboard. Will enjoy the drop in grade and is sure to take beating. COOL DRINKS (8) had good support at Kembla Grange first-up but after being slow away his finishing effort was moderate. Has the blinkers on first time to sharpen him up and has more to give over the longer journey. Comes right into it with a couple of key scratchings. SHE'S A DAME (5) will be better for the 1.2L defeat at Canberra first-up when she led over 6 ½f. Has the early speed to manage the awkward gate and with the extra fitness will get every chance to run out a mile. BREEDERS SUN (11) resumed in good order at Kembla Grange over 7f and then went back and didn't settle after settling back from a wide gate. Some trust is required but she has ability.
