FERINZO (5) talented gelding chasing his third straight win. Had the race in his keeping inside the 1f when he returned for an effortless win over 5 ¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Produced a slick set of sectionals on that occasion and looks destined for stronger company. Go close. ASTRONOMIX (2) stalked the speed on debut, clearing out for a soft victory over 5f at Randwick Kensington. Looks up to this stiffer test from the good draw and shapes as the main danger. TRANSGRESS (9) well-bred gelding resuming with the two even trials. Won well on debut before drawing out with a tiring tenth over 6 ¼f at Newcastle. Blinkers go on with the in-form Tommy Berry aboard. Capable of taking this out. EXFORTYTHREE (7) scored a slick win on debut over 5f at Kembla from the wide gate. Thrown in the deep end when he reared at the start and finished last in the heavy conditions over 5 ½f at Rosehill in BM78. Cross-over nose band goes on and worth another chance in this company.
