PELEUS (2) gelded over the break and resumes in a winnable contest. Raced in Group and Listed class at his last two preps and primed for this with the two trials. Well drawn and looks hard to hold out. SHE'S ASSORT (5) resumes for her second campaign. Belied her price on debut with a tenacious nose second over this trip at Hawkesbury last September. Won both trials this time in with plenty in hand and shouldn't be a Maiden for long. NAFANUA (7) returns from a five-month break. Heavily supported on debut when she sat on the speed before being nailed on the line in the heavy conditions to finish second over 6f at Nowra. Can figure prominently after winning her two recent trials in good style. Likely to push forward from the draw and sure to go close. BIVACCO (4) returns from a let-up after he closed late at his first run back with a respectable second over 5f at Canberra. Key jockey change and will be doing his best work late. The chances don't end there.
